MCE maintains a mature, fully implemented ASME Nuclear Quality Assurance (QA) Program. MCE’s QA Program has been written and implemented to meet the requirements of ASME NQA-1, 10 CFR 830, Subpart A, 10 CFR 50, Appendix B and 10 CFR Part 21, for all aspects of engineering, design, procurement, fabrication, manufacturing, and testing. MCE has successfully provided Safety Class Quality Levels 1 through 4 services for nuclear projects and the Department of Energy (DOE) for several decades.
MCE extensive project experience involves performing work to national consensus standards, including, but not limited to, ASME, ANSI, AWS, UBC, NFPA, NEC, and MIL standards, and performing projects in compliance with DOE Orders and Code of Federal Regulations. In addition, MCE’s capabilities include ASME U & R stamps for vessel design and fabrication, and repair and/or alterations.
MCE’s Quality Assurance (QA) Program is written and implemented to NQA-1, 2008 edition and NQA-1a 2009 addenda, covering all 18 elements as well as applicable supplementary criteria, and is augmented when necessary by appropriate documents such as project-specific quality plans and procedures. MCE’s QA Program is applied on a graded approach to comply with the customer specifications and requirements. MCE’s QA Program has been audited by many government entities and is currently active on a variety of DOE facility Approved Supplier Lists (ASL).
MCE’s QA/QC processes and controls are defined by mature MCE procedures that have been continuously used and improved for over three (3) decades. All engineering, fabrication, inspection, and facility testing is performed in accordance with MCE’s QA Program.
