Fred Yapuncich, PE, PMP

Chief Executive Officer / President

Mr. Fred Yapuncich has over 35 years of experience in the engineering field including technical management, design/fabrication cycle, testing, plant operations and safety analyses.

As the MCE CEO/President, Mr. Yapuncich advances MCE’s mission of safety and quality combined with schedule and cost efficient project management by ensuring the most qualified personnel and optimal resources are applied to all projects. Mr. Yapuncich holds a Master’s of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and is a registered Project Management Professional and Professional Engineer.

Management Commitment:

The President of MCE accepts responsibility for the effective application of the requirements of MCE Quality Management System to assure compliance with customer requirements and the codes and standards identified in Quality Assurance Program of this web site. Senior Management establishes the overall expectations for effective implementation of the Quality Management System and is responsible for obtaining the desire results. MCE Management is fully committed to requirements for continuous improvement through communication of expectations and monitoring of effectiveness with the goal of enhancing customer satisfaction.

Karen Litts-Killoy, CPA

Chief Financial Officer

Ms. Karen Litts-Killoy has over 15 years of experience in financial and contracts management. Her experience includes management of other corporate support services and functions including human resources, employee benefit programs, IT staff, subcontracting, insurances, leases and facility management. Financial management experience includes responsibility for maintenance and reconciliation of balance sheet and income statement item as well as monthly close of general ledger and preparation of internal financial statements and other management reports.

Her contracts management experience includes participation in evaluating business growth opportunities, proposal preparation, evaluating contract terms and conditions, contract negotiation, change order management, budget management, timely invoicing and project performance analysis. Ms. Litts-Killoy joined MCE in 2012 as the Contracts Manager and in 2014 was named Chief Financial Officer for MCE. Ms. Litts-Killoy has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Washington.

Julie Lingle

Director, MCE Technical Services

Julie Lingle is the Director of MCE Technical Services a division of Mid Columbia Engineering, Inc. (MCE). She manages the operations, strategic initiatives and business development efforts. With an education and experience in business administration and recruitment the challenge of developing innovative human capital solutions is a constant motivator.

Julie joined MCE in 1999 and shortly thereafter moved into recruiting and through the day to day experience gained moved into the Staffing Manager role. In 2010 Julie was promoted to Vice President and moved into an executive leadership role. Throughout her career she has supported the organizational goals, leads the strategic sales efforts to expand MCE services while recruiting and their contingent workforce.
